Dr. O’Neal creates personal long-term care plans for his patients. Your plan will include medication management, healthcare navigation and coordination, and diagnostic and preventive care as required.

For patients whose care requires consultation with specialists, Dr. O’Neal will maintain open lines of communication with every other member of your healthcare team. He will review your status, monitor your medications, and, whenever possible, suggest ways in which you can streamline your care and reduce your healthcare expenses.

Exams Done the Right Way
When it is time for your annual check-up, you’ll find we do things differently. Rather than collect blood and urine specimens during your visit and call you back with your lab results, we ask you to come for your blood draw before your visit. That way, if your labs turn up anything that you will need to discuss with Dr. O’Neal, you can do it during your visit – in person, not over the phone.

When it comes to your health, prevention is always preferable to cure. As a patient of Dr. O’Neal, you will enjoy a wide variety of preventive care services designed to prevent those conditions that can be prevented and encourage the early detection and intervention of conditions that cannot. Preventive care can include things such as:

Dr. O’Neal will review your healthcare records for the past year at your annual checkup and recommend preventive care. If you need an immunization, most are available in-house. We will also refer you to specialists for any cancer screenings you should receive because of your medical or family history.
Acute Care
When life happens, and you come down with an unexpected cold, stomach bug, headache, or other acute condition, we can help you avoid the long ER or urgent care center wait. When you call Dr. O’Neal’s office, our team will get you in as quickly as possible – often on the same day and always within 48 hours.
We provide acute care services for patients suffering from:
- Cold, flu, or other respiratory infections
- Abdominal issues, including stomach pain and other gastrointestinal complaints
- Headaches
- Rashes or hives
- Joint pain
- Minor orthopedic injuries or sports injuries
Note: Dr. O’Neal’s practice is not a substitute for a full-service hospital emergency room in the event of life-threatening conditions such as cardiac or pulmonary incidents or severe injuries or trauma. In the event of a medical emergency, call 911.
